Pop-art comic panel of a generic masked wrestler in a gold and black costume kneeling on a smashed blue announce table and hoisting a plain gold championship belt overhead. A jack-o'-lantern shatters in the foreground, a striped-shirt referee tumbles away in shock, and a shadowy challenger glows on a giant arena screen behind them, with a yellow and red POW burst and a blue KRAK burst in halftone dots.

wwe nxt halloween-havoc results wrestling

NXT Halloween Havoc went down Saturday night, Oct. 31, with Danhausen as host, and both NXT champions walked out with their belts. Then CM Punk showed up on the big screen and made Wednesday a lot more interesting. All results below are from WWE.com's official results unless noted. Pro wrestling is scripted entertainment.

Results

  • NXT Championship: Grayson Waller (c) def. Tony D'Angelo to retain. Waller went after D'Angelo's wife and infant son in the crowd, put D'Angelo through the announce table, and after the referee got wiped out, used the D'Angelo Family's old crowbar before finishing with the Rolling Stunner.
  • NXT Women's Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) def. Wren Sinclair to retain. Jordan worked Sinclair's arm all match. Sinclair hit the Final Wrench twice but couldn't lock it in, and Jordan won with her foot on the ropes.
  • Very Nice, Very Evil Match: Zilla Fatu def. Charlie Dempsey. Danhausen announced it as Anything Goes and Falls Count Anywhere. BirthRight interfered and smashed Fatu's injured hand with a pumpkin, but Fatu fought them off with a shovel and won with the Fatu Splash.
  • Weapons Wild: Myles Borne def. Tavion Heights, sending him through a table after going after Heights' injured ankle with a chair.
  • Non-title: Izzi Dame def. NXT Women's North American Champion Zaria with the Busaiku Knee. Zaria keeps the title because it wasn't on the line.
  • Shiloh Hill def. Naraku in a cinematic match that crashed through a wall to ringside. Hill blocked Naraku's mist with his own and hit Whisper to the Beast.

Punk vs. Waller is on for Wednesday

After the main event, Punk appeared on the video screen and challenged Waller. WWE's results say Punk demanded a title opportunity, and PWInsider and F4W both list Waller vs. Punk for the NXT Championship on NXT, Wednesday, Nov. 4. F4W notes NXT moves to Wednesday that week because of The CW's election coverage, which puts it head to head with AEW's Blood and Guts. Fightful also reports that Jordan will defend against a mystery opponent that night.

Our [Blood and Guts vs. NXT preview](/articles/aew-blood-and-guts-vs-nxt-nov-4-preview/) has the rest of Wednesday's head-to-head night.
