WWE Crown Jewel is Saturday, Nov. 7, at Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It streams at noon ET (9 a.m. PT) on the ESPN app with an ESPN Unlimited plan in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally, per WWE.com and Netflix Tudum. Pro wrestling is scripted entertainment, so this is a preview of what's booked, not a prediction to bet on.
The card so far
WWE.com lists four matches:
- Men's Crown Jewel Championship (Champion vs. Champion): World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns vs. Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn
- Women's Crown Jewel Championship (Champion vs. Champion): WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green vs. Women's World Champion Liv Morgan
- Last Man Standing: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
- World Tag Team Championship: The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory) (c) vs. Penta and Je'Von Evans
Tonight can change two of these
Here's the part that matters right now. CBS Sports points out that both champion-vs-champion matches hinge on tonight's SmackDown. Zayn defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Trick Williams, and Green defends the WWE Women's Championship against Nikki Bella, per WWE's SmackDown preview. If either title changes hands, the new champ takes that Crown Jewel spot. SmackDown is at 8 p.m. ET on USA. This page will be updated with sourced results after the show.
Reigns vs. Zayn, again
WWE.com frames this one around a role reversal. Reigns has been fighting without his family getting involved since he beat CM Punk at WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight Championship. Zayn has started bending the rules since he got the Undisputed WWE Title back. They've got history from the original Bloodline. CBS notes Zayn took Reigns to the limit in Montreal in 2023 and lost.
Morgan vs. Green
Green won her title in a five-way ladder match at SummerSlam, and WWE says she fought through a broken orbital bone to retain against Nia Jax. Morgan won the Women's World Championship for the fourth time at Money in the Bank. CBS notes no one has won a Crown Jewel title twice, and Morgan can be the first.
Rhodes vs. Orton, Last Man Standing
Per WWE.com, Rhodes retained against Orton at WrestleMania 42. Orton then hit him with the title and punted him after the match. CBS reports that punt really did fracture Rhodes' orbital bone. With a Last Man Standing stipulation, the match is built to end it.
The tag title match
WWE.com's match page walks through weeks of back-and-forth between these teams on Raw. After The Vision attacked Penta and Evans on the Oct. 26 Raw, Raw GM Adam Pearce gave them the title shot. WWE also notes Penta won the Money in the Bank ladder match during this feud.
The read
Four matches with eight days to go, and two of the four could look different by 11 p.m. tonight. That's our take, not a report. Expect WWE to add matches on Raw and next week's SmackDown. We'll add them here with sources.
