NBA board for Wednesday, November 4, 2026
Cleveland Cavaliers at Oklahoma City Thunder
Cavaliers lose by 3 or less, or win
Spread: the points they have to cover.
Ticket CLE +3.5
Oklahoma City is without Chet Holmgren, Cason Wallace, Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber. Cleveland won three of its last five, so three and a half points against a short-handed Thunder team is worth taking.

Preview
Same two teams, 48 hours later, flipped building. Oklahoma City won 117-112 in Cleveland on Monday night, per ESPN, and tonight's rematch tips at 8 p.m. ET at Paycom Center. ESPN shows the Thunder 5-2 and 3-0 at home, and the Cavaliers 4-3 and 1-2 on the road. ESPN lists it as the second of two regular-season meetings, so this closes the season series.
Key factors
Monday was the Shai Gilgeous-Alexander show: 43 points and eight assists, per ESPN's box score, with Isaiah Hartenstein grabbing 14 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell had 17 points and 11 assists for Cleveland. Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 28.4 points, and Mitchell 21.9 with James Harden at 6.3 assists. The Thunder are thin. ESPN's injury report has Chet Holmgren (knee), Cason Wallace (shoulder surgery), Nikola Topic (back) and Thomas Sorber (knee) out, and Jaylin Williams day-to-day with back spasms. Cleveland lists Jaylon Tyson (ankle sprain) and Peyton Watson (hamstring soreness) out. One wrinkle: Oklahoma City's two losses in its last five were blowouts on the road at Dallas and Houston, and both of its wins at home in that stretch came by 11 or fewer. DraftKings via ESPN has Oklahoma City -3.5, the same spread as our morning card. The moneyline moved to Cleveland +136 / Oklahoma City -161 from +131 / -155, and the total dipped to 226.5 from 227.5.
The pick
Our morning card took Cleveland +3.5 as a Lean, and the spread hasn't moved. A short-handed Thunder rotation losing Holmgren's size matters, and Cleveland just played these guys within five on Monday. The risk is obvious: Gilgeous-Alexander just went for 43, and Oklahoma City hasn't lost at home yet. Check the late injury report on Williams before tip.

How to read a pick
The bold line is the bet in plain words. The ticket line under it is the number from the source, when the source had one.
- Spread
- The points a team gets or gives. "Eagles win by 4+" is the same idea as PHI -3.5: that team has to win by 4 or more. A plus number means the team can lose by fewer than that, or win.
- Moneyline
- Who wins the game. No point spread. The price, like BOS -155, only says how short or long that win was on the snapshot.
- Over/under
- The total. Add both sides together. Over 2.5 goals means 3 or more. Under 2.5 means 2 or fewer.
- Parlay
- Two or more bets tied together. Every part has to hit, or the whole ticket loses. This board does not build a parlay for you.
- Lean, Like, Love
- Lean is a small edge. Like is a clearer read. Love is the strongest call on the board. No pick means we are not calling a side.
