How to read a pick
The bold line is the bet in plain words. The ticket line under it is the number from the source, when the source had one.
- Spread
- The points a team gets or gives. "Eagles win by 4+" is the same idea as PHI -3.5: that team has to win by 4 or more. A plus number means the team can lose by fewer than that, or win.
- Moneyline
- Who wins the game. No point spread. The price, like BOS -155, only says how short or long that win was on the snapshot.
- Over/under
- The total. Add both sides together. Over 2.5 goals means 3 or more. Under 2.5 means 2 or fewer.
- Parlay
- Two or more bets tied together. Every part has to hit, or the whole ticket loses. This board does not build a parlay for you.
- Lean, Like, Love
- Lean is a small edge. Like is a clearer read. Love is the strongest call on the board. No pick means we are not calling a side.
